    Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a spring between the oil filter cover & the filter element please ?Previous F650s I've looked after I'm almost sure had a spring there, but present 2013 G650GS doesn't have one, parts diagrams for either models show no spring.....Cheers Tony H

    We have a 2012 G650GS and a 2013 Sertao, no spring on either…
