Given the recent road closures and the deteriorating road conditions we have decided to postpone the shop ride to Nelson this weekend. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we will advise of the new ride info as soon as we have a plan.

Avon City Motorcycle are hosting a ride called ‘Nelson Two Ways ride’.

The ACMC team are heading up to Nelson for a ride but we couldn’t decide between taking the road or gravel to get there so we are doing both!

For the road option we will be heading up through the inland route via to Nelson and back down via the coastal route on the Sunday.

Those keen to take the less travelled route will be heading up with the road bikes to the Hanmer turn off and then up through the Molesworth Station, through Taylors Pass, Havelock and into Nelson. If it is open we will be coming back through the Rainbow Road, if not then an alternative gravel route has been planned.

Please organise your own accommodation in Nelson. We will be staying at the Asure Fountain Resort in Tahununui http://www.fountainresort.co.nz/ if you would like to join us.

All makes and models are welcome, both the road and the gravel rides are suitable for all bike and rider skill levels (Dual purpose tyres recommended for the gravel option)
